Logo Guide
The minimal logo design displays best on a simple black or white background. Its versatility is important given the various print media at the restaurant : one color imprint receipts, apparel, menus, and gift certificates.
Imprint Flexibility
Apparel customization was a priority for this client from the start.
This design passed the apparel embroidery test, which can be one of the most difficult applications of logo art. due to the restrictions of detail and color. Even at a small size and in limited-color applications, the logo remains legible and the details of the icon are discernible.
Supporting Assets
ALTERNATE COLOR IMPRINT OPTIONS
Various imprint options offer the logo versatility no matter the print color palette.
SECONDARY LOGO
The client anticipated the business name being shortened for efficiency, in conversation and on social media for example, so we got ahead of it by creating this secondary logo version.
MARKETING
Dance recitals were held regularly, so printable items like event invitations and way finding signage are essential.
COMPANY BADGE
This icon was used to represent the dance team at competitions. It imprinted and embroidered well on a variety of outfits, creating a professional, consistent look for the team as they traveled and performed.

Position the studio as a modern, sophisticated studio where young and experienced dancers and instructors gather, to practice a wide range of dance styles.
2BUILD REPUTATION
Collaborated with client to further build up their reputation using the new logo assets. The logo served to unify the communications around the studio mission, recruitment of dancers and instructors, and publicizing of the competitive dance accomplishments.
3EXTEND BRAND RECOGNITION
Recognition is important in the dance world, especially via the competitive circuit. The logo needed to be unique in the dance industry, and reduce well to just the icon if needed. The limited color palette is also key in building strong recognition.
